What is ThinkTravel?
ThinkTravel is a powerful feature designed to recognize guests when they visit your website. Once authenticated, customers will be able to effortlessly access their information the next time they visit any ThinkWeb website. Because we know who the guest is, we can greet them and offer them the ability to view, manage, and edit their reservation.

What Are Member Rates?
Member Rates are special rates available to guests who are logged in to their ThinkTravel account.
When a guest who is not logged in to ThinkTravel books through your ThinkWeb website and selects a Member Rate, they’ll be prompted to sign in or create a ThinkTravel account to complete their reservation.
Member rates are designed to help you encourage brand loyalty amongst your guests and compete against OTAs for the best price while remaining in rate parity.
How to Create a Member Rate
To create and manage a Member Rate, you must have a ThinkWeb website and have this functionality enabled on your account.
Steps to Enable a Member Rate:
Navigate to the Settings > Rate Types in ThinkReservations.
Select the rate plan you wish to make available as a Member Rate, or click the NEW button to create a new rate.
Go to the Details tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Member Rates section.
In the dropdown menu labeled Member Rate, select Yes.
Save your changes when done.
Once enabled, this rate will appear on your ThinkWeb Rooms Pages as a bookable option. When guests attempt to book it, they will be prompted to sign in or create a ThinkTravel account before completing their booking.
Tips for Success
Highlight Member Rates on your website and marketing materials to encourage more sign-ups and direct bookings.
Use Member Rates strategically: consider offering them during competitive periods or to reward repeat guests.
Show your guests the value they’re getting by layering Promotions with Member Rates.
Keep rates in parity with OTA pricing while adding value through amenities or loyalty perks.
