Getting Started with the Page Editor
Click the Think Reservations logo in the upper left corner of your screen and select Think Web.
Click Pages to view all the pages on your website.
Highlight the page you wish to edit, such as the homepage, and click edit or double-click to open it.
Understanding Your Page Layout
The menu at the top of the page is the same on every single page and cannot be edited from this screen.
The footer at the bottom of the page is also identical across your site and cannot be edited here.
You will focus your editing entirely on the content sections found in the middle of the page.
The large photo at the top of your content is called the header image.
You must use high-quality, professional photos for your hero image to avoid pixelation.
You can easily add a check availability widget to the header component or anywhere else on the page.
Editing Text and Headings
To change a heading, click it to highlight it, then press Edit, or double-click it to open it.
Type your new text directly into the heading field.
Your H1 tag represents the page's main theme, and you should have only one H1 per page.
Use heading levels 2 through 6 to organize the rest of your information by importance, much like a filing system.
You can customize your headings by adding subheadings, centering the text, or placing a divider line below them.
To edit standard paragraphs, double-click the general content section.
Paragraph text sits between <p> and </p> tags, which are simple tags that tell the editor the text is a paragraph.
Working with Images and Staggered Content
Staggered content sections are great for beginners, while the similar "stacks" feature is meant for more advanced users.
In staggered content, you can easily remove or replace an image using the provided buttons.
Clicking the switch button takes you to your media library to select a new image.
The editor displays the image's file name, which can help search engines identify the photo.
The editor also shows you the exact pixel size of the current photo, which is helpful if you need to size a replacement photo in a program like Canva.
You can position the image on the left or right, or set it as a faded background behind your text.
Adding Buttons and Links
You can add a clickable button by entering your desired button text and providing a link.
If you are linking to a page on your own website, you do not need to type the full web address.
Linking to Your Own Website (Internal Links) When you want to create a link that sends a visitor to another page on your own website, you don’t need to type out your entire web address (like https://www.yourwebsite.com). Instead, you can use a shortcut called an Internal Link.
How to do it:
Start by typing a forward slash (/).
Immediately after the slash, type or paste the filename of the page you want to link to.
Example:
Instead of typing: https://www.yourwebsite.com/about-us
You only need to type or paste: /about-us
Think of the forward slash as a "home" button that tells the computer to look inside your own website first!

If you are linking externally to a completely different website, you must use the entire web address.
It is highly recommended to load the page you want to link to in your browser, then copy and paste the link directly into the editor to avoid breaking it due to typos.
Saving Your Work and Publishing (Crucial Steps!)
IMPORTANT: When you are done editing a specific component section, click Update to apply those changes.
WARNING: Never click the trash can icon if you simply want to exit a component without saving.
Clicking the trash can will completely delete that entire component section from your page.
If you want to exit without saving your current component edits, strictly click the cancel button.
IMPORTANT: Once all your edits on the page are complete, click Save.
IMPORTANT: Remember, the public cannot see your updates until you click the Publish link to push them live to the internet.
