MFA requires you to get a temporary code to log in. You can use an app like Google Authenticator to provide this code or get a code from a text or phone call. This article will cover using the Authenticator app method. Authentication apps that you can use with ThinkReservations include:

Please be sure to download one of these apps before you start the process further below. This article will use screenshots using the Google Authenticator app. It may look a bit different if you use another app instead, but the process will be very similar.

To set up MFA for your user account, log in to your ThinkReservations account and click "Settings". Next, choose "Click here" under Multi-factor Authentication.

Clicking this link takes you to a page as seen below, where you will use your smartphone to scan the QR code using your authenticator app.

Open your authenticator app and tap the BEGIN SETUP button.

Then tap Scan barcode, as highlighted below.

If you already have an authenticator app, a page will appear with your current connections. Just tap the + sign in the upper right hand corner and scan the ThinkReservations barcode on your computer screen.

Your Authenticator App will now provide you a one-time passcode like the example seen below.

You will need to enter this number into the ThinkReservations page in the field shown below, then click Continue.

Next, you will be given a master password. This is your last-resort password in case you lose your phone and cannot access your email for whatever reason. You must note this down somewhere so it can be used in an emergency!

After you copy the code, check the box and click the arrow to move on.

Once you have enabled MFA on your account using one of the above methods, go back to the original ThinkReservations tab where you started and refresh the page as it says.

Once you refresh, the MFA section will change to show that it is set up.

Thank you for securing your account! This will significantly prevent unauthorized access and secure the guest information and business data within your account.
