Important Context:
TiloPay offers two primary models depending on the market:
Payment Facilitator Model: Used in most of Central America, this model allows properties to sign up directly with Tilopay and process payments after providing necessary KYC/KYB documentation. This essentially means Tilopay is both your payment processor AND your payment gateway
Gateway Model: Used in markets like Caribbean islands or Nicaragua, this requires the merchant to have an existing merchant ID and an affiliated account with one of Tilopay’s 30+ integrated banking institutions.
The platform is bilingual (English and Spanish) to accommodate diverse regional needs.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Set up a payment gateway account with TiloPay. You can register on https://tilopay.com/start and the affiliation wizard will guide you through the process.
Once your account is fully up and running, login to TiloPay and navigate to "Platform Integrations".
Navigate into your ThinkReservations account and head to Settings, then click on Payment Gateways on the left-hand menu. Click "New" in the top right" You can simply enter "Tilopay" as the name, and then choose Tilopay as the type. Now, enter the credentials previously mentioned above into their matching fields. Lastly, choose your currency type that you charge in (should match what is configured in Tilopay) and hit Save at the bottom.
