How do I search for a guest or customer?

If you need to pull up a customer's record, you can search from the Customers page. Click on Customers from the black bar at the top and search.

Simple Search

Searching for customers is easy:

  1. In the search box at the top, enter all or part of a customer's:

    1. Name

    2. Email address

    3. Company, or

    4. Phone number

  2. Click Search to the right of the box to search for the customer.

  3. The results will be displayed below, sorted by relevance.

Advanced Search

Using Advance Search, you can get a list of customers that meet specific criteria.

  1. Click "Advanced Search" to activate the filtering options.

  2. Select your first field from the dropdown, and enter a search term.

  3. Click the Add search criterion button to optionally add an additional search field.

  4. Repeat the above step to filter your search as much as you need.

  5. Click the Search button when ready to search your database.

  6. The search results are displayed below, sorted by relevance.

Please note: The filters will find results that meet all of the criteria.

So if you search for guests that have a State of WA, and for guests that have agreed to marketing email, the results will show only customers who meet both, not one or the other.

  • Edit your search as needed, and click Search again to see the updated results.

  • If you wish to remove a search criteria, click the X in the red circle.

  • Click "Simple Search" to return to the Simple Search method.

View and Download Results

The Download button will download a CSV file of the results of your search.

See here for more on exporting your guest data.

Click on the customer record from the search results to open the customer's record. The customer record shows customer information and private customer notes. Below will be all bills where this customer is the primary contact. You can click on the bill to open it.

From the customer record you can also Delete, by pressing the Delete button at the top, or Edit, by pressing the Edit button on the top right.

Reservation Search

You can also search for bills by entering all or part of a confirmation ID or customer's first and/or last name in the search box. Toggle the search box by clicking the magnifying glass. The results will show matching bills and reservation where that guest is the primary contact.
