Branding Update

This article is for clients who are getting a new website or have a new logo, and need to update that information in ThinkReservations

Update Your Email Header

The top of your transactional emails sent from ThinkReservations have a header with an image you can set to your logo or another image of your choosing. Update the image by following the steps below.

We recommend using a horizontal PNG file with a transparent background that is under 2 MB in size.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Email Rules

  2. Click Choose File... button to select an image file from your computer.

  3. Select the image on your computer and click Open in your computer's dialog box.

  4. Click Save to upload the image to your account.

  5. You can test your work by clicking on the email envelope icon on a reservation to view the preview.

The new photo will be used as the header image for future emails to your guests.


Update Your Email Colors

The colors of your transactional emails can be updated when your branding changes, or when you want the colors to better match your website. Changing these colors can be done by following the steps below.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Email Layout.

  2. Enter a HEX value (For example #000000 )for the new color for the field that you need to update.

  3. Repeat for each color that needs to be updated.

  4. Click Save to commit your changes.

  5. Open a reservation and click the Email icon to preview your changes.

Check with your webmaster to get the exact colors you should use. We recommend that you try to match the look and feel of your website's header and footer, and choose colors that align with your brand and logo.

Pro Tip: Search for "Color Picker" on Google for an interactive tool that provides HEX code color values for any color you select.

Advanced Tip: There are also tools available to help identify the HEX code for a color on a website, including one built into DevTools in your browser.


Update Your Gift Certificate Logo

Your Gift Certificates feature a logo of your business. If you need to replace this logo, follow the steps below.

We recommend using a square PNG file with a transparent background that is under 2 MB in size.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Gift Certificates

  2. Click Choose File... button to select an image file from your computer.

  3. Select the image on your computer and click Open in your computer's dialog box.

  4. Click Save to upload the image to your account.

  5. You can preview this by opening a gift certificate and sending a copy to your own email address in the "Deliver by Email" field.
